MACHINEERING - VIRTUAL COMMISSIONING

MORE THAN JUST VISUALIZATION

We pour our heart and soul into our work every day to ensure that you achieve your goals faster!

machineering GmbH & Co. KG, based in Munich, develops innovative software solutions for real-time material flow and robot simulation. We are a team with hands-on industry experience: Experts from a wide range of specialist disciplines offer advice to companies and engineers on all topics relating to visualization and simulation in the areas of development, sales, and virtual commissioning.

Simulating complex material flows and mechatronic production systems virtually and thus saving valuable time is one of the greatest reserves of efficiency in machine and plant construction. In this way, the development and construction of plants can be accelerated and secured using 3D simulation and virtual prototyping. In project acquisition, planned plants can be visualized in a dialog with the customer in a sales-effective way. The greatest potential, however, lies in the virtual commissioning of plants and production lines: It has been proven that the costs for installing, testing, and optimizing plants can be reduced by up to 75% using simulation.
When machineering was founded in 2007, a spin-off of the iwb (Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Betriebswissenschaften in München), Dr. Wünsch and his team began development of the physics-based simulation software “iPhysics”, which has been continuously developed since then and tailored to meet customers’ needs. In 2009, the name was changed to a GmbH & Co. KG by Dr. Georg Wünsch and Beate Maria Freyer. The 3D simulation solutions developed by the machineering engineers are now successfully used by leading plant and machine manufacturers as well as production companies in various industries.
DR. GEORG WÜNSCH

Founder of machineering GmbH & Co. KG. With a doctorate from the Institut für Werkzeugmaschinen und Betriebswissenschaften in München (iwb), Dr. Wünsch laid the groundwork for technical and economic consideration of the topic “virtual commissioning”. Thanks to his many years of experience, Dr. Wünsch is considered an expert in the fields of simulation and automation at home and abroad.
BEATE MARIA FREYER

Managing Director of machineering GmbH & Co. KG. With a degree graduate in business administration and training as a finance manager, she has several years of experience in the automotive industry before working as a management consultant at Porsche Consulting where she was mainly active in research and development. Beate is a founding member of machineering GmbH & Co. KG and has been managing director since 2010.
